” A SULLEN VERSE “

A SULLEN VERSE

Underneath the heart’s cushioned velvet,
Lay barren thoughts
Suffocated by buried regrets,
Like the radiant moon

That is washed away by
A cold sea of dark clouds,
They crawl through my skin
As claws scratch all over,
And memories bleed

A SULLEN VERSE

In parts and fragments,
A thin feathered misfortune
Peeps out from my notebook pages,
Torn, half-eaten by grey silver fish.

Regrets swallow,
My tears for the lost
With colors I have,
Never imagined before
