” PURPLE “

Purple scenery

From the Phoenician city of Tyre,
a long time ago,
A dye discovered was admired

Deep down the Mediterranean sea,
seized from the nature with so rarity

purple dye

For worth more than its weight in gold,
It would never be meant for the mortal men,
Such were the tales told

Symbolizing royalty, prestige and prosperity,
Convinced to be only afforded by the noble
It shaped its rivals to look so very subtle

Purple Crystals

But time passes by, you see,
Changing fortunes for whoever it may so be

It may be invariable, imperishable or eternal,

But today, I saw a man by the streets
wrapped around in Purple.
